one human person is a multimodal artist
one human person - the working name of eric bremser maier - is a “multimodal” artist, music producer, audio engineer & educator based in burlington, vermont.
the founder and director of future fields, they are interested in creating and facilitating creation, particularly across age & identity.
one human person’s debut full release, “red & blue”, combined music, writing, and visual art. the project was initiated in the mountains of alberta, canada, on an intensive residency at the banff centre for arts & creativity, and completed in conjunction with the celebrated designer michael jager.
informed by their life experiences and zen buddhist practice, eric’s concept of “multimodal” art involves telling the same story as different stories, expressed through different methods and media, as an evolving process without concrete or final meaning.
